On May 14 – 17, the lecturer of the Department of Fashion Design, dr. Eugenija Strazdienė went to HoGent College in Belgium under the Erasmus+ teaching program. During the visit, she gave lectures on the topics of digitization of fashion industries and modeling and simulation of clothing production processes, visited HoGent College’s modern experimental and demonstration space for textile materials and clothing production FTILLab+. In this space, the innovative products created by students and teachers enable the Belgian textile, fashion and other industries to transform into circular, bio-sustainable and digital businesses that use local resources, apply advanced production technologies, invest in digital transformation and engage in cross-sectoral collaboration.
The experience and knowledge gained during the visit will contribute to the improvement of the content of the Vilnius College’s Fashion Technology and Business study program, the strengthening of international cooperation and the generation of new project ideas.
