Students of Fashion Design Studies Programme Win in Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution`s Event “Studies 2044: DI Hackathon”

On 14 November, Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution`s event “Studies 2044: DI Hackathon” ended. The main prize of 2500 euros was won by the team “CraftED” of students of the Fashion Design programme, Paula Radavičiūtė, Ugne Kolyčiūtė, Vaiva Rimgailaitė, Eva Kleinauskaitė, Diana Voronina. The idea of the “Designer’s Diary” proposed by the students is unique and could help current and future professionals in the field to overcome creative challenges and solve technical issues that optimise the design process.

Nearly 500 students took part in the two-month project, with lectures and workshops delivered by dozens of experts and AI enthusiasts who provided students with valuable knowledge and skills in AI, creativity, public speaking and critical thinking.

Dr. Andrius Juškys, Associate Professor at the Department of Cultural Management and Dance Pedagogy, under whose supervision the “CraftED” team won this year’s main prize, was delighted not only with the success of the students, but also with the opportunity to learn more about artificial intelligence and its practical applications.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the organisers, sponsors and students who participated in the event and hope that this event will become not only a nice tradition of Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution, but also a platform for creating new ideas.
