STAR OF BETHLEHEM. UNDER THE VAULTS OF THE CHURCH

We are proud of the students, graduates and teachers of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies!

For the 14th time Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution community and the guests of the city were brought together by the extraordinary beauty of the spectacle “BETTLEHEM’S STAR. UNDER THE VAULTS OF THE CHURCH”. This event – a concert initiated by Babilaitė-Abarė, associate professor at Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution, was born “out of a desire to make sense of the anticipation of Christmas by choosing works that encode the search for light, love and hope”.  The works of sacred and popular music of different periods were performed by famous Lithuanian stage professionals, graduates and students of the Musical Theatre study programme of Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution, prepared by the teachers assoc. prof. Dalia Babilaitė-Abarė, assoc. prof. Eglė Juozapaitienė, Povilas Butkus, Nijolė Baranauskaitė – Matukonienė.

The original artistic lighting created a special atmosphere for the large audience, enhancing the spirit of the performed works and the mood of Advent.

Thank you to the organisers of the concert and the guest performers!
