Lecturers from the Department of Fashion Design at the International ISC 2024 Conference in Krakow

26 September Eugenija Strazdienė and Gražina Skripkienė took part in the International Simulation Conference ISC 2024, organised by InterMarium company in Krakow. It is the largest business simulation conference in Europe, presenting and discussing innovative process simulation technologies and the role of digital twins in various industries and academic studies. The FlexSim software is used in the Fashion Technology and Business study programme at Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution to not only model and simulate garment production processes in the Technological Process Design course, but also to carry out research into the most optimal methods of organising production. For example, the project “Modelling, Virtualisation and Optimisation of Fashion Industry Processes on the Basis of FlexSim”, funded by the Lithuanian Science Council, was won, and the results of the research carried out together with the students were presented at Lithuanian Science Council (2020) and at international conferences: at Kaunas University of Technology (2021 and 2024), at the CIRATM’2021 conference in Tunisia, and at the Environment.Technology.Resources’2024 conference in Bulgaria.
