Indian Delegation Visits the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies

On June 20th, the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies had the pleasure of hosting guests from India – Dr. Preeti Nair, Dr. Daxa Vekariya, and Dr. Shruti Tiwari.

The visit began with a meeting attended by the Dean – dr. Birutė Žygaitienė, and the Vice-Dean – Andrius Guoba, the Head of the Study Organization Department Alma Kniežienė, the Head of the Project and Competence Development Department Laimutė Semėnienė, and lecturers from the Fashion Design Department. The guests presented Parul University’s study programs and artistic initiatives, leading to a productive discussion on potential collaboration in areas such as academic staff and student exchange, as well as mobility programs.

During a guided tour of the faculty, Erasmus coordinator Monika Polunina and Head of the Fashion Design Department Gražina Skripkienė introduced the visitors to the faculty’s labs and practice spaces. The guests had the opportunity to see the students’ work up close and were especially excited about the final projects from the Image Design and Fashion Design programs – fresh and still glowing from the runway! The Indian delegation also attended the Silk Meadow II project presentation by the Fashion Design Department at Menų spaustuvė, where they shared how inspiring and beautiful the fusion of creativity and culture was.

We sincerely thank our colleagues from India for their warm and inspiring visit. We look forward to future collaborations and joint creative projects.
