Foreign Partners of the International Project at the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies

On 21 and 22 January, 2019 the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies was visited by foreign partners of the International Project. Participants of the project Rosa Thorsteinsdottir and Gunnsteinn Olafsson represented Iceland’s art and culture. The Department of Performing Arts, together with Icelanders, is carrying out the International Project ’Nordic languages: The Ethnic process’. The goal of this project is to increase the awareness of the Icelandic language in Lithuanian society by involving artistic methods, in particular singing. Lecturers presented the master classes for students of Musical Theater degree program, introduced students to Icelandic culture, songs, music and specifics of musical performance. All participants of the project planned future performances and discussed other stages of the project.
